• 3/8" diameter grade 5 bolts connecting crossmembers to base rail have more than 2.75 times the shear strength of aluminum rivets.
  
   
• 1/4" diameter 2117-T4 aluminum rivets are at 2" centers on both sides of hat shaped posts. 1/4" rivets have nearly double the shear strength of 3/16" rivets.
  
   
• 80,000# yield steel nose post to front lower rail connection features 4-5/16" diameter grade 5 steel bolts and 2-1/4" 2117-T4 aluminum rivets.
  
   
• Patented extruded aluminum bi-functional floor seal and service tunnel provides additional lateral base rail stiffness between crossmembers.
  
   
• “Can trailer” upper coupler/kingpin assembly exceeds AAR standards. Kingpin has 380/420 Brinell hardness.
